A sraman asked A-Buddha, ‘ How a diligent person can be a Buddha, what motivation-sake is that the person can have a proper way to know life-mentality(宿命) and can understand and can accord with buddhi way ? ’.
A-Buddha said, ‘
At lustrating mind and to lastingly fulfill the will in buddhi-vow way; as an
example, Nature is as a mill, effectuating Nature can grind and polish one’s
mind and behavior to accomplish Greatness-perfection-mirror-wisement (如磨鏡) as an
example, often to rub mirror, dirt to be removed and then mirror is bright; to
lastingly extinguish sexual appetite and desire and then to lastingly be
at Nil-desire (無求), person at propriety (當) can use life-mentality; the doer of buddhi vow can accomplish the fatal destiny to become a Teacher Of Heaven and
People in the future.’.
