Principle eight The persona shall contaminate oneself if to sprinkle dust against the wind or to spit against the sky.

said, ‘ If a person effectuating virtue was harmed by evildoer whose
evil consequence was such as that evildoer spat against sky, but whose
spit can not arrive at sky, whose spit shall drop to whose face; whose
evil consequence was as that evildoer sprinkled dust against the wind,
but dust can not adhere to wind, dust shall return to whose body; the
instinct of philosopher shows No-gain and No-destruction (賢不可毀), when
philosopher does not follow the ignorant wind and then stands against
ignorant wind (逆風), in the face of rising dust idea, philosopher
effectuates No-gain that the mind arrive at There (不至彼), any dust idea
cannot stay at There, the dust idea shall return to its place; the
philosopher effectuates No-destruction that the calamity of the mind is
destroyed; the evildoing and calamity of evildoer shall destroy one’s
