Celebration from Shin-Ming-Shing the buddhi-name of A-Budh successor(the worldly name is Yaw-Nan Su), the exponent of A-Budh office(宗正), Băo-An A-Budh-office(保安堂), A-Budh successor(佛弟子), the buddhi-successor of 35th graduating Buddhist(第三十五代法嗣), Touch-Nil Gate(齋門), Touch-Nil Teaching(齋教), Lóng-Magnificence Sect(龍華派), Lín-Jii Purport(臨濟宗), Buddhism.
Introduction The answer is , ‘Recurrence-issue-variety-operation-arrival-congruence, incense, banana.’. ‘Nil-noise to sing, Buddha, praise; impartiality sitting, to be active in run toward A-Budh; the paramount vehicle, to return home; way, going, vehicle ? No-leavetaking.’. ■ The accent of the ancient language will be a bit different from area to area after a long time. “The kid goes to school, seeing the hen laying eggs, the goose taking meal on the street (Nan Zai Qu Du Shu, Zai Jie Shang, Kan Dao Ji Zai Sheng Dan, E Zai Chi Fan, which is the pronunciation in Chinese pronunciation).” For these sentences, if spoken separately in the accent of Zhangzhou, Quanzhou, Lugang, all with Southern Fujian dialect, there is a huge difference among them. For example, In English “books” is pronounced “su書” by common spoken Chinese (普通話) now, but books is pronounced “chiè冊” by zhangzhou accent (the official language in Tang dynasty). In English “street” is pronounced “Jie街” by common spoken Chinese (普通話) now, but “street” is pronounced “gie” by zhangzhou accent (the official language in Tang dynasty). In English “chicken” is pronounced “Ji雞” by common spoken Chinese (普通話) now, but “chicken” is pronounced “gie” by zhangzhou accent (the official language in Tang dynasty). There were scores of languages in ancient India, among which Sanskrit was easier for people to communicate with each other. In the accent of the ancient Northern Indian, because of the distance, they were accustomed to going to Northern China from Tibet. For example, Master Kumarajiva translated, as to the Northern Indian accent, “piksu” directly into Chinese accent, “Bi Qiu (比丘)”.
In the ancient time, Master Xuanzang of Tang Dynasty, who went to Central India
for further study on Buddhism, translated, as to the Central India accent,
“piksu” directly into Chinese accent, “Bi Chu (苾 A few years ago, I once went to the garden of the Jata-tree in India…, that guide living in New Delhi spoke with the accent like “Pi Chu (譬鋤)”. For the same Indian word, there are three accents when translated directly as to the sound, Bi Qiu, Bi Chu, Pi Chu. There is a huge difference among them. There are also different translated phrases for the same word in different places. There are even with different thinking in different dynasties. People in Han Dynasty had their own thinking, while people in Tang Dynasty also had their own lifestyles. People in the northern area had their cultural characteristics, while people in the southern area had their Zen. It is the same style in the inner land, Chuan and Chu.
For the direct translation of the word, Buddha, there are two ways. One is the
combination using the previous Chinese characters, such as “Bu Ta”, “Fu Tu”, “Mo
Tuo”, “Bo Tuo” … and the newly invented words, F “Bu Ta” among them has the deepest and widest meaning in Nature-action.
As to the pronunciation, “F Several respected ones saw A-Budh Buddha Monthly and asked the original reason of it. Some also said it seemed very familiar. And there was a suggestion from the respected one, some temple, Yongkang Township, Tainan County. It is not outing or entertainment. How do you view it, then? Perpetuation-Soundness bears an exchange way(永康有個交流道), the person can go to platform-recurrence to do perceiving and brightness(可去台南作觀光), if at peacefulness-equal to see ancient castle(若是安平看古堡), only, to smell, ocean, water, to savor, the present, year after year(只聞海水味當年).’. Do you know how to do it? It is a very friendly one-sentence-words(很親切的一句話); It seems that the air is full of vitality, moistening heart and lung. Such a friendly, to worship recurrence-issue-variety-operation-arrival-congruence(禮之); to revere with recurrence-issue-variety-operation-arrival-congruence(敬之); to answer in recurrence-issue-variety-operation-arrival -congruence, incense, banana, Nil-attainment(答之香蕉而無所得). To Touch-Nil classmates ■ Dear Touch-Nil classmates in peacefulness-fineness, The Touch-Nil classmate Wei-Sheng(偉聲齋友) wrote a letter hoping that “to use the A-Budh Buddha Monthly”(步他佛月刊) appeals to A-Budh successors(佛弟子們) in Touch-Nil Gate(齋門), Touch-Nil Teaching(齋教), Lόng-Magnificence Sect(龍華派), Lín-Jii Purport(臨濟宗), Buddhism in cooperation to disseminate dharma law; Wei-Sheng and other Touch-Nil classmates hope to increase in dharma-law, and hope to disseminate Lόng-Magnificence-assignation(龍華派), The Nature-Home Bodhisattva buddhi-gate(在家菩薩法門), upasaka and upasika purification-faith good-fineness-sangha buddhi-gate(優婆塞優婆夷淨信善好僧法門). So it is. We can meet each other frequently, communicating, encouraging and cooperating with each other to preach dharma. Thus we ourselves and the society will both have a good development. You see, those Director Generals, Secretaries, leaders of Buddhism Association of China and the branches of the counties and cities were all elected and easy-going. Once I heard one of them said, “In the A-Budh’s Experience it is said that the Four kinds of sanghas are all the first.” I felt amiable about these words and know that I am still in real Buddhism, but not arrogant Fart Realm. Touch-Nil classmate Wei-Sheng, if you want to set up sodality, just do it. We have no problem. As to the director, he or she should be elected or takes turns. If you can work well on the sodality, that will be OK. While, I should proclaim seriously that, ‘The Buddhi Successor (法嗣), Buddhi Doer (法子), The Exponent of the Chief Command (總勅), The Nine Character in Dharma-Law Protector (九品護法), The Exponent of the Assistant Command (副勅) are the high levels of position-class of felicity-wisdom upward behavior, which position-classes should have to be approved by The Teacher of Devas and People (天人師), and should have to be given the A-Budh’s decree (佛令) to use the title and position-class.’. Frankly speaking, if the title is director of sodality, director of development, director of association …, most homekeeper(住持) can accept them more easily. You have said in the letter that you have before recommended someone as Vacuumizing-Variety, while it ended up with nothing conclusive. You see, he had not get the A-Budh-permission(戒領) the true-words (dharani真言) and hand-signet from the exponent of the Chief Command(戒領總勅級真言手印), he did not know the dharma or sentence from the Four-conveying-course-instruction(四乘科儀), he can not preach dharma. Some homekeepers maybe regard your way as to make Lόng-Magnificence Sect fooled. Therefore, they would not join sodality. In my opinion, I thought you want to seek fame, destroying Lόng-Magnificence Sect or split it. Affairs of the A-Budh offices are in the charge of homekeepers of the A-Budh offices, but not in the charge of the Exponent of the Chief Command. Buddhi Successor, Buddhi Doer, The Exponent of the Chief Command are just responsible for preaching dharma, and disseminate the Nature-Home buddhi-gate said by A-Budh; they are just in charge of management within their system and the delivery-training-dissemination preaching place (傳訓佈道所). As you know, if in charge of too many affairs, they will waste too much time. Thus it will be a pity for Buddhi Successor, Buddhi Doer, and The Exponent of the Chief Command spend less time on listen, think and act in conformity with dharma because of that.
This management style, self-management, is a tradition of over five hundred
years for Lόng-Magnificence Sect. The A-Budh’s assistant L At that time there were 18 Exponents of the Chief Command, like 18 powers of sand, and then developing into a rope of sand, it was superb. They were just able to preach dharma, while impossible to unite together, or be made use of to be food for powder. Diligently do upward behavior with dharma every day; preach when possible; rest if not; free and unfettered, peaceful and happy. You see, in ming Dynasty, the White Lotus Faction(白蓮教) was created in Sichuan(四川省). They do not want to become dispersive sand, but united as a group, involved into politics. The emperor then assigned the army to destroy them.
By the way, there was also piksu shih-d As the history recorded, there were some emperors in ming Dynasty who were very fierce, as well as those in qing Dynasty. One was about Yangzhou Ten Days, that was, the army of qing Dynasty broke into Yangzhou and killed the citizens within the city for ten days. Another was Jiading Three Slaughters, that was, Close Jiading City and slaughter the citizens for three times. Many people died of the literary persecution. Piksus in Southern Shaolin Temple in Fujian province were slaughtered. Piksus in the temple of Guangdong where Master Huineng, the Sixth Patriarch of Zen Buddhism, preached dharma … (Many more temples were destroyed and many more piksus were killed). The Touch-Nil classmate Wei-Sheng! So many piksus have been killed in many times. So many temples have been destroyed. On the contrary, upasakas good-fineness-sanghas and upasikas good-fineness-sanghas(優婆塞善好僧和優婆夷善好僧) of Touch-Nil Gate(齋門), Touch-Nil Teaching(齋教), Lόng-Magnificence Sect(龍華派), Lín-Jii Purport(臨濟宗), Buddhism have been more obedient. A professor, who studies historical literature, applied to National Palace Museum of Taipei for the materials that during The Struggle between the Kuomintang and the Chinese Communist Party, Mr. Chiang Kai-shek ordered the army to bring to Taiwan from the Palace Museum of Peking. Those include decrees, rescripts of emperors of ming Dynasty and qing Dynasty, memorials to the throne from the officials and generals, governor-generals and provincial governors of all prefectures and counties, the reports on decades of life of the A-Budh’s assistant Yin Jinan under the supervision presented to the emperor by the general of qing Dynasty, as well as the memorials officials of qing Dynasty have no approval of many times. The Touch-Nil classmate Wei-Sheng! Many peoples died of imperial guards of ming Dynasty, repressed slaughters and the literary persecution in qing Dynasty(清朝). Lόng-Magnificence Sect has been safe, always excepting to be planted some false evidences by emperors and their officers(除了被帝王官吏栽贓之外,龍華派沒事). You can see that Lόng-Magnificence Sect is so excellent, upright, obedient to national laws, preaches dharma and raises the level of humanity.
As to the effort of people from

Those fierce and strict emperors, generals and ministers used repressed
slaughters and literal persecution to hit the subjects. Thus it is shown out
that believers of Touch-Nil Gate, Touch-Nil Teaching,
Lόng-Magnificence
Sect, Lín-Jii Purport, Buddhism were obedient. There was great credibility in
the decrees and rescripts of emperors, in the memorials of generals and
ministers, which prescription-breaking piksu y Is there any book which publishes the decrees or memorials of ming Dynasty and qing Dynasty by other scholars? Yes. The book by Professor Dai Xuanzhi, with the name, Chinese Secret Religions and Associations, which was published by The Commercial Press Co., Ltd. in Taiwan. There is not enough space for me to write more in the monthly magazine. I will write more when there is more space.
